AUNT PEGGY’S FAMOUS ANGUS BEEF BRISKET
One lean "Oak Row" ANGUS beef brisket
1/4 bottle of liquid smoke (put this on first)
Add generous amounts of:
Yep, just sprinkle it on. Seal it up in tin foil and bake low heat @ 200-225 degrees for 6 to 8 hours
(Or so based on how big the brisket is-I sometimes bake it overnight-It is done when you can cut it easily.-just don't let it dry out) After cooking, place in the refrigerator till cool-
Remove from foil and cut in very thin slices against the grain-
To serve, arrange in a plate, pour barbecue sauce over and Microwave till warm. I use Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce.
