Oak Row Angus Cattle

2023 has begun.  

We will be offering 2 Fall born, long yearling bulls and 4 spring born yearling bulls this year.  These bulls are all sired by Oak Row Crowd Pleaser, "Phizz," our senior herdsire, by Visions Unanimous out of a OCC Prototype cow.  Phizz is 3000 lbs. with excellent feet and legs and a most gentle disposition.   We have bred in generations of good dispositions and it shows.  Most of the dams are sired by Oak Row Just Plain Cool.  All of these bulls have wonderful dispositions and their mothers are flawless cows.   These are bulls that are bred and developed to work on grass.  They have a very consistant range of birthweights of 75-83 lbs.  All of our bulls will work on heifers.  The fall yearlings are weighing over 1500 lbs. now. (Jan 10) One spring born calf weighed over 900 lbs. at weaning and they all averaged well over 800 lbs., averaging almost 4 lbs WDA on the cows.  We have never creep fed any of our calves.  

We will also have some young, fall pairs selling bred back for September 2023 in 3/1 packages and a couple spring calving bred heifers.  There is also a couple of fall bred heifers that will be calving August/Sept. 2023 to A.I. sires.  

If you are interested in these cattle, please just give us a call and we can share some pedigrees and EPD's with you.  Our bull offerings are very consistant and correct, up to date on everything, raised in big lots and are currently on free choice silage bales and 3 lbs. of corn/oat mix grain per day and mineral.  They will be grown, not fat and ready to work.  All bulls will recieve a full BSE before they go to their new home.  This is our 20th year of selling our bulls and females off the farm.  For your convienience, we will keep your bulls until June 1, for free.
