"Tucker" Oak Row Tucker # 19622678 8/21/2019
Birth wt. 80 lbs. Act weaning wt. 780 lbs. 205 day. wt 731 lbs. WDA 3.45 lbs
Yearling weight 1210 on grass. Current weight
This guy is out of our long established Belle Family and sired by Oak Row Just Plain Cool. Grandsire on the dam side is our homebred "Homerun" bull that was treasured by Gary Buckland's Mar-ga-Way Farm for many years. He left us some awesome daughters as well. The Willa J cow was one of our Pathfinders and she was still calving at 15 years old for Matt and Lynae Kamps. Some of those Belle cows lasted until they were 20. If you are looking to increase weaning weights, great dispositions with longevity and put back some gorgeous and productive females, this is your guy. $4500
"Tom" Oak Row Ring the Belle # 19622675 8/04/2019
Birth wt. 85 lbs. Act weaning wt. 765 lbs. 205 day. wt 687 lbs. WDA 3.15 lbs
Yearling weight 1185 on grass. Current weight
"Tom" and "Tucker" are bred alot alike and look pretty similar as well, both out of Oak Row JPC. We really had great luck with the TC Aberdeen bull from TC Ranch in NE and they were great cows for us. All of our fall calves ran on just grass (and it got pretty short in July and August) all summer. He has plenty of frame and a great cow family behind him to make some very profitable and long lasting cows for you. The carcasses on the steers from this same breeding are unreal and most of the gains are on just grass. That entire cow family has been very easy calving, great dispositions and really grew. Just really easy cows that were a joy to be around and were pretty besides. "Tom's" dam had twins this year at 10 years old. They are the same size as the other calves! Calved unassisted too and bred right back! $4000
Spring born yearling bulls born 2020
These bulls are all sons of TA Weighup 718 which is a son of Plattemere Weigh UP K360 and out of a Connealy Right Answer cow. Birthweights on all of his calves have been extremely consistant and we had all unassisted births. Like peas in a pod. These bulls were weaned on Oct. 25, and are on 4 lbs. of corn/oat mix grain since Jan 1 and 2nd cutting silage bales free choice.
"PJ" Oak Row Weighup 120 #19947256 2/28/20
Birth wt. 80 lbs. Act weaning wt. 890 lbs. 205 day. wt 846 lbs. WDA 3.87 lbs. on grass
Yearling weight
"PJ" is a thick made dude that is from the Pride cow family going back to TC Freedom from Weaver Angus. WAF Pride 585 was a really cool cow and Pride 710 has been one of our best producers. This guy is easy to get along with and has lots of performance. He was our heaviest weaning weight calf at 890 lbs. actual weight when his dam was a 10 year old cow. You can't find cows like his mother everyday. She was one in a million. $3500
"Pauly" Oak Row Weighup 420 #19947255 3/7/20
Birth wt. 80 lbs. Act weaning wt. 872 lbs. 205 day. wt 855 lbs. WDA 3.93 lbs. on grass
Yearling wt
“Pauly's” dam is a Just Plain Cool daughter that stems from the Princess family that came from Hoff Scotch Cap Angus in South Dakota. She is not a big cow, but raises a really big calf! You can’t find cows like her if you scour the country. She combines the perfect phenotype with the perfect disposition with astounding performance. All of our spring bulls are on silage bales with about 4 lbs. of corn oat mix and mineral. This guy would work for any grass program for awesome females and great fat cattle. $3500
“Bob” Oak Row Weighmaster 1020 #19947254 4/4/20
Birth wt. 80 lbs. Act weaning wt. 736 lbs. 205 day. wt 768 lbs. WDA 3.79 lbs. on grass
Yearling wt
"Bob" and "Pauly" actually are from the same cow family, a Pathfinder Princess cow we bought from the Doug Hoff Scotch Cap disperson. She left us with some great cows. "Bob's" dam is a SAV Final Answer /Connealy Thunder daughter. The grass got pretty short this past summer and the cow hurt her foot and did not milk as well as she usually does. We sold her in August and just kept "Bob" out on grass with the other cows and calves. This guy was our youngest calf, but kept growing great anyway and he is one of the best in the pen. He is a sharp looking bull, very clean up front and plenty thick with a sweet disposition. $3500
"Frank" Oak Row Weigh Cool #19947263 3/1/20
Birth wt. 80 lbs. Act weaning wt 890 lbs. 205 day adj. wt. 828 lbs. with an WDA of 3.90 lbs. on grass and milk.
A lot to like about this guy if you like them stout and thick. His Just Plain Cool dam did an outstanding job and she does not miss. This cow family came from TC Ranch in Nebraska and was wonderful in every way. This guy is plenty thick, and really clean made. Walks super sound and has a lot of performance on grass. His mom has a great udder, feet and legs and a great look. Talk about getting the job done. I did not take a lot of pictures of the cows and calves this year, but we have one of him taken in late June. $3500

AVAILABLE YEARLING HEIFERS
Do you like them deep, stout and powerful? Is disposition really important to you? Ck this one out. TJ out of our “Belle” cow family, a daughter of TC Aberdeen/TC Freedom/Bushwacker cow and a son of Just Plain Cool. This guy is super deep, big footed and correct with a lot of thickness. Our fall bulls (and heifers) run on grass after they are weaned. They are not on our best grass either. We like to just grow them. They started on feed the first part of November. (Our fall bulls managed the same last year were in that 1800-2000 lb. range in June when they went to work) Our coming yearlings, fall yearlings and yearling steers are now in one group and they are getting less than 3 lbs. concentrate plus free choice hay. Retaining ½ semen interest in this one. We also are retaining first right to purchase him after you are done with him. (most of our fall calves weighed a very consistent 70 lbs., 2 at 60 lbs., 1 at 75 lbs. and 1 at 80 lbs.)
